Tips for Choosing a Restaurant For Allergy Sufferer

You can still enjoy eating out despite suffering from allergies. Be active when ordering food to reduce the risk of food allergy reactions from your body.

1. Avoid the buffet restaurant
Buffet food was presented close to each other. Often food ladle used to one another. As a result, allergens move easily from one dish to another dish.

2. Avoid restaurants suitable type of allergy
Depending of the type of allergy, you decide for yourself which ones to avoid restaurants. If allergic to shellfish, avoid seafood restaurants because most high risk of contamination at the restaurant type. If allergic to peanuts, avoid Chinese restaurants.

3. Request advice
Request recommendations from the waiter restaurant, food that does not contain any allergens in your body. If the waitress was not sure, ask to speak with the manager or the chef. If possible, tell the restaurant about your allergy suffering, long before it arrived at the restaurant.

4. Many questions and talk
Do not hesitate to ask how the food is cooked. Also ask also the materials used for cooking. There are still many restaurants that have not realized the seriousness of food allergies. Inform this to the restaurant, so you can be sure your food is free from allergens substances.
